Ok, good. It doesn't hurt to be sure. And call me if you need anything, seriously.
I'm actually going to look at another Berlina in Orlando ... maybe Friday or Saturday. On paper it looks good (and a few decent pics). It's a 2003 with only 44k on it.
Speedy just called me and said he had a 2006 Rio ... but, i just like AP1's in Berlina so much. He said he'd go with me to check the other one out though! Speedy is a full service CO (don't worry zDave ... you were too when i needed flowers )

The S is lucky for you a very stout car, A lot of us are lucky speaking from experience. So glad to see you not seriously hurt or injured. I hope everything goes well with the next ride.

Hey Scott,
I am very sorry to hear about this. I heard the night of my going away party and have not had a lot of time to post up.
I am glad you are ok. I cannot see the pics of the carnage at work though I will try again later.
You take care buddy and glad it was not more serious than it was.
here is to a speedy recovery.

I looked at the pics again and damn... But that will buff right out lol
I think most of the people there at the scene of the accident really thought i 'bumped my head' because i wasn't running around looking pissed. The lady who hit me really kept her distance thinking that she had just ruined my life. I casually walked up to her and asked if she was the driver of the other car (her boyfriend was standing beside her holding her close). She looked at me with the most amazingly sad look and said 'yes, and I'm SOOO sorry. ARE YOU OKAY!?!?'. She was ready to fall to her knees and pray for forgiveness .. seriously. I said i was fine, introduced myself with a smile and said 'I'm a little sore and my head hurts ... but, i'm okay. It's okay ... these things happen.' She was truly upset with herself (and probably still is) and obviously needed something other than a lashing. She's going to have so much regret to deal with.
My reactions to these situations always confuses people ... but, with how the 'system' is nowadays and being exposed to after-effects ... i just can't justify being upset about something that can be replaced (my car that is). If i were really hurt ... and in a more permanent way. Sure, i'd be a little more upset. But, i'm really ok and believe that 'karma' would haunt me if i were to be more angry about it.
<looking forward to AP1/Berlina part 2!
