Default My S2000 ... totaled :(

Well ... i just got to my friends place with the car (Kalli's Towing and Recovery). I was on my way to see Christina.

I turned onto a street heading north and wasn't doing more than 35mph when a car coming in the opposite direction turned in front of me. I tried to avoid her and was making a decent effor but she never slowed at all. She hit me square in the drivers-side door and 'punched' my car, back end first, over the curb and directly into a telephone pole which was right on the edge of a small water-retention pond. So i ended up with the front of the car facing skyward. Both doors were crushed and i could not open them. So what does a good S2000 driver do then? Kindly ask the bystanders to step back as the top goes down ... oh yes ... still a cool car

Thankfully this happened right next door to a large medical professional center. I literally had a Dr. right next to me the entire time. I only suffer from a REALLY bad bang on the head ... but not a concussion. Two lumps now adorn my left temple.

EDIT: Picture add

So ... i'm 99% sure this car is totalled considering BOTH sides are crushed. Not to mention the entire front right wheel&hub assembly is broken free from the car and the drivers-side rear axle is broken from the diff.

What is funny though ... is that i had just renewed my S2ki.com membership within 5 minutes of the accident. So, once it clears 'pending' status i'll post up pics of the carnage.

I'll keep you guys informed of my next S2000 purchase

Are you sure you're alright? Injuries can sometimes take a day before they let themselves be known. I can't believe she hit you on the driver side door! I'm grateful you're walking and that Honda makes such good cars. Take it easy for the next few days and let your body relax and recover.

Sorry to hear about the S though. I'd be SO pissed at the other driver at that moment for her stupidity and carelessness. What did the cops do/say??

If you need anything just give me a shout and I'll be there.
