My new business needs a website
Hi gang,
Please PM me if you work as a web designer, or know someone who does. I'm starting a small business and I need a website. My budget is limited for starters but I know what I want and can pay for professional services.
Thanks!

I can swing it but my timeline is a little tight right this second. When do you need it by and are you ready to move forward as far as content for the site and clear objective for what you want to accomplish with it??
Not being pessimisitic at all but these are things many people, who want a website, do not have. I am confident we can make a great website, but in the interest of time that is a commodity right this second we would need to have everything hammered down before production started.
PM me and let me know what you have in mind.

^ agree 100%. Used to do a few web sites on the side, but got frustrated (not a patient man ) when people "wanted" a web site, but then could supply no info as to content, look/feel, etc.
You'll be doing yourself and the designer a huge favor if you spend some time really thinking about what you want the site to accomplish and organize any content you'd like to have so that the web designer can concentrate on making a great site, not trying to figure out what you want. Researching sites for similar businesses for organizational ideas is a good start, as well as noting any sites that you particularly like the look and feel of so the designer has a starting point for what you'd like to see.
Good luck w/ the new business.
