Default My catalytic converter died!

My car has been making a nasty metalic rattling noise upon startup and low speed driving the past few weeks that comes and goes. I thought it was the catalytic converter but I wasn't sure because it would come and go, never consistant. Of course the day I got around to bring it to the dealer it made no noise but they took my word for it and took it off to find that the entire inside matrix had collapsed and was blocking exhaust flow. My car still ran good with a blocked up cat so maybe it will be a racecar now. Watch out Jeff Carlton, I'm coming for you! They had no cats in Florida so they are overnight shipping a cat from Georgia and it should be done sometime tomorrow. For now I'm driving a extended cab Dodge Durango, I guess they ran out of Vipers at enterprise car rental

O.K. Troy. My Hi-Flow cat is bigger than yours.

Who says size doesn't matter.

Not Me!

I will at least whoop you off the line because of all the added weight you have and the parasitic drag on the engine pulleys until you get boost! I will jump up and down and say yeah , yeah, I won the race to 25mph!!! Woo whoooo!

I wouldn't be to sure of that. The increased torque and the 4.57s take up for everything and more than I lost with weight.

Doesn't matter anyway I'm not racing until I get the AEM computer and work on my fuel curve. I'm sure I'm running lean.

No matter what Dave says size does matterask any girl... Speaking of size, have you seen the size of the Turbo on the S2000 on the cover of Turbo magazine?

He is making 559whp. The Turbo is as big as big as my supercharger. Can you say huge turbo lag but wow when it go going!!!

What until you see Charlotte's new motor. When she gets it done it will be nice.
