PCS'in there. I should be there in mid to late July. Gotta find me a house/apartment with at least a one car garage.

 

Yea, findin a place with a garage is damn near impossible on an O-1 BAH, not unless I want to go over my BAH, but with student loans and such I kinda need to save as much money as possible. At least I have a car cover to protect the paint and interior from the brutal florida sun.

 

I found about a hamdful for less than 1200 over in pensacola. In PC, I've seen maybe about three.

 

My BAH is going to be 1133... We are trying to stay enough under that for it also to pay utilities. Since we are gonna have a decent chunk of student loan payments and want to also be able to put a good amount away

 

Yeah, mine is 1194 in PC, I'm wanna find a place in the ballpark of $8-950 per month

 

what are utility bills like in this general region... ive lived in the north east my whole life.

 

 

Might want to check out Mexico Beach, Springfield, Callaway or Lynn Haven. All small towns next to the base. The main thing is to stay far away from the paper mill. I left in 2001 but still have friends in the area. PM me if you need some contacts.
