I'm going to visit daytona beach next year from the 22th of january till 25th february. Are there anywhere Meetings around daytona?

Would be nice to go to a local meeting.

There is the Rolex 24 at Daytona going on from Jan 27-30th. It's a 24 hour endurance race on Daytona's road course.

yeah i'm going there anyway. And Nascar. But i thought about some s2k / import cars/ honda meets ^^

We have a couple of die-hard Rolex24 fans around here


One of our members has an RV he parks right up on the infield fence every year. This coming year isn't 100% on the RV ... but, I'm pretty certain several S2000 folks will be there ... especially me!

I was planning on getting with the other CO's to try and make a meet out of it. At least have everyone meet outside the track at a local restaurant for some dinner or something. I know not everyone wants to see the race ... but, 'ya gotta eat'


We had a meet at the Ale House there on ISB a few years back that was awesome (plenty of parking.) It was a good spot as it was a central spot for folks from Jacksonville and Orlando

There are a number of great places to eat near the racetrack. So, for those who don't or can't go to the race it would be nice to still include them in a fun dinner gathering. The choices in the area are hard to beat too ... lot's of established chain restaurants along with some that have a very local flavor and atmosphere.


I'll be digging into some more details in the next few weeks to see what kind of interest there is ... and then go from there


I can assure you ... there will be a thread/post of the race and any festivities relating to it including a fun dinner-meet (or ... even a lunch-meet )

Usually the race starts around noon on Saturday and runs through Saturday night into Sunday. But, there are some great races and practicing/qualifying starting on Thursday


I'm usually there for the Friday race as well. So, it definitely could be any OR ALL of those days to meet up
