because it looks cleaner. Looks more flush than our sticking out side turn signals. The way it is now, without the "s200", it kind of looks like it was just stuck on there. It will look better when you go clear with the headlights especially on a white car.

Has anyone removed the marker completely? I know it would be illegal, but someone ps'ed this shot and it looks interesting. Looking at the pic, I guess it wouldn't be illegal for the ap1.

Thanks guys. I should get the sidemarkers this week and may try to clear my headlights at Bill's if Denise will let me use her oven again. Anyone know of a good touch up paint for nicks in the paint? Look at the last pic.

is that a chip or is it like a scratch? If it's a scratch, try one of the scratch remover products. I've had good results with the sonus line. If you need touch up, have fun. I used the honda touch up with a tooth pick and it still came out a little too thick for my liking. If you do a search in the wash forum, some guy actually used the touch up paint, then sanded with a fine sandpaper using a pc, then used one the sonus 1,2,3 treatment with pc, then klause aio, and wax + sealant. Seemed like a lot of work just for a small scracth, but he fixed his hood which was badly keyed

Unfortunately it's a chip. It came off with the adhesive. I may not even worry about it. I am going to get it repainted early next year anyways. We'll see.

maybe a dumb Q,
will they fit on an s2k?
With double stick tape they fill the hole.

Like it was said they don't stick out and the look a lot nicer than the stock type clear markers.

why would the absence of side markers be illegal??

It was not until recently that the sidemarker fad became popular. They have been around for years on european cars but they are not standard equipment on all cars by any means.

Am I wrong?? I am fairly certain that most US cars until recently (last 5 or so years) have been side marker free.

Let me know

I thought you had to be able to see the turn signal from the side. Either it be from the front that wrapped around or a side marker. I could be thinking of something else though.
