Check to make sure she's not in ICU and that flowers are permissable. I'd hate to send her something beautiful and colorful to cheer her up and she not be permitted to have them in her room.

You can send them. I've been talking to her on and off all day. I'll be flying/driving in soon. Most unfortunate... On the humorous side, I hope my avatar still looks the same ; )
