Just for kicks, put the S on a dyno.
So, I had helped co-ordinate a dyno day for Brevard Motorsports today. Luckily, most of our members who were planning to dyno their car got there on time or early, and we had only minimal issues over the course of the day.
When it came time to break for lunch, we were about 30 minutes ahead of schedule. So I figured, what they heck, might as well get a baseline for my car before I start working towards boost. I wasn't expecting much, as the only "power" mod I have is the 70mm T1R single and test pipe. And even with the lovely 88 degree temperature inside the garage, I managed to put down what seems to be a decent amount of power for what is essentially a stock F20. This is on a Dynojet 248, by the way.
Max Power = 197.92
Max Torque = 133.87
They even gave me a CD with my dyno run on it, but I can't seem to make much sense of the WinPEP viewer program. So here's what I was able to pull off the file.
Dynojet Research Inc.
Run Name: C:\RunFile_002.drf
Run Title: 02 S2000 Base line
Run Notes: 70MM Exhaust
Run Date: 4/28/2007 5:31:25 PM
RunFile_002.drf: 88.12

Oh yeah, I will try and scan my actual print-out dyno sheet to put on here, which includes torque, and goes by RPM's rather than wheel speed.

The s2000 will vary from 194rwh to 199rwh. the car makes around 133 of torque. Add cold air intake and you will loose around 4hp and add other options and you may loose more. I did all of this in 2001. Gl and dont loose too much more..
