Looks like I may be spearheading the drive to this meet.
Barry has had some stuff come up and will be out of town.
I will be working with him over the next day or so to coordinate the drive and roll out. What this means is that we will probably be doing a straight shot and not a scenic "drive". Most likely meeting for a lunch-ish type meal at the Cracker Barrel on I-75 north we have met at many times for drives to northern destinations.
I apologize to anyone looking for a "drive" but the magic men involved in our many successful cruises in the past are not available for planning and resources and I lack the navigational skills to properly lead an excursion.
More info soon

OK here is the good on the planned roll out:
The exit where we normally meet for excursions going north is the Cracker Barrel at Exit #301 off I-75. This is also known as Hwy 50/98 or Cortez Road (Kinda confusing with all those names I know) the CB is located at the South East corner of the intersection of I-75 & Cortez Road (Hwy 50/98) behind the gas station.
The actual address is:
Cracker Barrel
30405 Cracker Crossing Blvd
Brooksville, FL 34602-8504
(352) 799-3101
From there it is 51.6 miles to JJC Autoworks. Remember when heading north on I-75 that there is usually a Wolf Pack patrol of cops set up with laser and radar just north of the merge of I-75 & the turnpike, you won't see them until it is to late so be very careful. I think they run Vascar sometimes because my detector doesn't go off but they are pulling people over sometimes 8 to 10 at a time.
GOOGLE MAP OF ROUTE FROM CRACKER BARREL TO JJC
Lets try to meet around 12 NOON at the Cracker Barrel to allow ample time to eat and deal with wait times. Travel time should be about 55 mins from CB to JJC so we have time to gas up (I will need to do this with 880 injectors) and roll out after lunch.
If you dont want to eat, plan on being at the Cracker Barrel between 1-2. I am going to try to get the convey on the road by 2pm.
Everyone planning to attend the drive should print out the instructions or program this route in the navi in case we roll out and you are not there or people get sperated by lights etc. we will roll slow when we first merge onto 75 to allow stragglers to catch up.
Sound good?
updated roll call:
1 primogen
2 ComposiMo (at meet but no drive)
3 Integra21
4 TerminatioN (tentative)
5 JohnsS2000
6 smallville160
7 sub zero (tentative)
8 turn king1 (at meet but no drive)
9 the Z man
10 Righteous_Spec (at meet but no drive)
11 Simongodsly (at meet but no drive)

this sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I could go to this one. Probably the closest meet to where I'm normally hanging out...but I'm going to be in California for a couple weeks.
Please take a bunch of pics for me.

OCALA PEEPS (or if you're not going to the Tampa meet and drive)!
I'd like to organize some sort of pre-meeting spot, maybe a late lunch, and then we drive into the meet together... or maybe meet up with the Tampa crew, and drive in with them.
If you're coming and are up for that, lets plan on meeting at... hell, i dunno... lets copy the Tampa peeps, and meet at the Cracker Barrel off of 484 (Don Garlits Exit on 75). Maybe meet there at 1:00, eat, hang out, and plan on leaving there at 2:45 to get to the meet by 3:00 or so... The drive from that Cracker Barrel to the meet is a very beautiful back-road type drive (not for speeding or reckless driving though... i'll be driving very sanely.. anyone wanting to drive like a jerkoff is welcome to go by themselves)...
Whattya think?
