bump to start getting meet and drive plans together...looks to be a late night with driving back and the time of the event....anybody considering a cheap motel?

 

Hey Guys! I hate to say it but it appears that double booked my calender for that Saturday and, as much as I hate to do it, bail out of the S2K event. Hope that you all have fun and take plenty of pics.

I don't know if I will be in town but i would love to come to this and then do the Sunshine Speedway 10pm -2am racing meet!

That is if I can keep my old ass up that long!

People should confirm and also let us know if you are planning to ride out with the tampa crew. I am pretty sure the locals wont but to make it easier for the planners of the drive to Ocala. please chime nad in say if you are in for the group drive as well.....please

Not in for the group drive, but it'd be cool for the locals to meet somewhere, and then have the Tampa Group Drive meet up with us so that we can all roll in together or something...

 

Looks like I may be spearheading the drive to this meet.

Barry has had some stuff come up and will be out of town.

I will be working with him over the next day or so to coordinate the drive and roll out. What this means is that we will probably be doing a straight shot and not a scenic "drive". Most likely meeting for a lunch-ish type meal at the Cracker Barrel on I-75 north we have met at many times for drives to northern destinations.

I apologize to anyone looking for a "drive" but the magic men involved in our many successful cruises in the past are not available for planning and resources and I lack the navigational skills to properly lead an excursion.
