Not sure if anyone has already seen this but if you haven't, please read on AND do not forget to look at the twin jet powered scooter he built for his wife down at the bottom of the page/link.

Have Fun !!!!

****UPDATE*****
When I copy the link to this post, it changes the link to SPAM. Not sure why. But, try typing the www thing, then freewebs, then .com, then /, then jet_beetle.

That is too cool. I know where I can get an engine and a guy that can help me install it. I just think there are better things to spend 25k on, plus misc for the install. My friend has a crysler 3.4 liter in the back of a 65-68 Beetle as well as the beetle engine. He smokes Mustangs all the time. He also has built a F-106 plane and mounted it on a Yamaha 1100. Retractable landing gear ans all. IN addition he has a Suzuki that looks like the Morris minis with a small engine up front and a Yamaha 1100 engine in the back Both are linked and can be run at the same time.

There are some serious stuff out there.

I could make a fake burner can with all the sounds that I could hook on to the bumper. Just like the Batmobile
