Jax People: Couple of questions...?

axe - "kind of the boonies" is an understatement. We are definitely in the boonies.
Keith - Nadia and Axe are right though - in your age group and being single I'd lean towards being more in town. If you live out towards Hodges, Kernan, etc. it will take you at least double 20 minutes to get downtown though. Rush hour is a parking lot no matter if you take Butler, Beach, or Atlantic. Go in early/late or leave early/late different story. Then again I know South Florida traffic is a ton worse than anything we have probably.
Axe's group drive to show you some areas in an excellent idea IMO. Plus those guys are quite a bit more in the know that I am as far as good places to go after work, weekends, etc.

I'm not sure how far up there you are Shay...I've somehow missed all the meets at your place...actually every meet you've been at since I have been active, I've missed. I know it takes me an hour to get from Mandarin to my buddies house in Bonaparte Landing.
As long as I leave Mandarin before 7:30 then my morning commute is ~15 minutes and then I head home or happy hour whichever the case may be at 4:30 ish and traffic really is a non issue for me.

If you go past Bonaparte up near the High School and take a right at the light (Publix) and then go down probably 3 miles, we're in a subdivision all the way in the back (Amelia View).
The hours you're coming and going are key I think. I little bit later in both and I think the brown stuff starts to hit the blade IMO. Kernan up Beach to downtown used to be an easy drive but with all of the new developments and contruction it got to be a nightmare.
