Jacksonville Autocross 26 Nov Whitehouse AF
EDIT 11/23 The Navy needs the runway for 'military activity' so they have cancelled the event. Again!
OK, yet another Jacksonville autocross announcement. Buccaneer Region of the SCCA is hosting an autocross at Whitehouse Airfield on the Westside on November 26, 2005...that's the Saturday after Thanksgiving. After enjoying the holiday, pack up the S2000, come on out to Whitehouse, and work off some of that turkey! This is a great venue...huge concrete runway, lots of grip, lots of pit parking, and there's even a snack wagon in case you want something other than a turkey sandwich.
Because the airfield is still Navy property, you need to register ahead of time at MyAutoEvents. However, if for some reason you don't register, I don't think they'll turn you away.
More info at SCCA Buccaneer Region homepage
Hope to see everyone there!

I did some training there for a short time controlling aircraft. I dont understand how there can be autocrossing there? All I remember is one runway, no taxi ways.....
Planes didnt even land there, they just did touch and gos for practice.
