thanks everyone. yea i pretty much tried to avoid getting hit from the rear end. its better that i wrecked than me getting hit and possibly worse damage. oh well, shit happens, i knew it was going to happen one day but its fine. thanks again everyone. the shop i took the car to is Joe's, 3 doors down from 2NRWERKS. They should be getting parts today and then hopefully I should be getting my car by tomorrow or wednesday. The automatic rental car is starting to drive me insane. I need a clutch damn it!!! I need to shift gears!!! Automatics suck!!

If they get the parts today you should be two weeks out. The have to weld in a new quarter and rear panel, replace a fender, bumper, headlight, taillight, and then paint it. Even if they got the parts today and got them installed today, a two day prep and paint is still real quick.

Sounds like you were pulling onto the highway infront of a car coming from behind, you saw the car late and goosed the gas a little much for the rain?

I hope they do a good job.

Sorry to hear that. Hope he's alright. On a similar note, s2k's are no joke in the wet. Dosent matter what tires are on it IMHO.

no it definitely will not happen again. They finally got parts and when I called them yesterday they were getting the top put on. They already had the quarter panel put on last week. 2 days ago they just received the parts and also it was received late so I might get my car done maybe today but it will most likely be done by early next week so I've been without my car for 3 weeks now but I told the body shop to take their time and not to rush so everything can check out fine. It was supposed to be a 9 day process but AIG needed the body shop in their list of shops and honda financial services had to clear the check and that took long and because of labor day that made the process longer. Oh well, I just cant wait to get my car back.
