There are keystrokes galore on a mac.

I like the AP1 parts.

the nice thing about the iphone is that it's barely hardware based. It's software and the updates are Free.

The new software has been updated and will be released in the coming days. Very cool new apps, plus if you jailbreak it, there's literally thousands of things you can do with it.

i've come to realize that my lifestyle is too 'rough' to have a cell phone like the iphone. I get the rugged model phones because i know i will drop them and abuse them just as a daily ritual (not intentional ... just my redneck lifestyle).
That is actually just one reason of MANY to stick with my current cell phone and provider. I've also been checking other carrier plans/rates ... wow, i've got a great deal right now with my data services that will cost me more than double to switch to AT&T.

So ... it will be the itouch for me. It will be perfect as a primary wi-fi device for me ... among other things.

I was one that constantly dropped my phone and was actually afraid to even own the iphone when I first got it...I was terrified of possibly destroying the phone you can't get insurance on lol. I know for a fact it would have seen concrete multiple times if I didn't get the rubber skin for it, they are very slippery in stock form.

I've had it for a while now and haven't dropped it but only once on concrete, luckily my protective skin saved it. It is by far the best and most useful electronic device I have ever purchased...I don't know what I would do without it now.

my environment isn't a gravity meets concrete issue ... mine just has a lot of moisture in it. I love the water ... and sometimes its not clean water either. I just can't risk it. I don't have to worry about so much about the phone heading to the ground ... i have to worry about the water coming up to meet the phone!

trust me ... i'm a little jealous. But, i'm sure i'll be fine (and more money in my pocket) when i get the itouch. Thanks for the input though!
