Head gasket, timing cover, tensioner, Vtec solenoid.
Those are your possibilities.

I would check the gaskets on the tensioner and VTEC. If those are good I would pull the oil pan, take the timing cover off and re-hondabond it. There is no gasket inbetween it and the block. It does pinch the head gasket at the top, this to is suppose to have HONDABOND on it as well.

That's the idea. check...........clean and re-HONDABOND it.
Pick up a bottle of Brake Clean,(it dries better then engine degreaser) clean off the area, and monitor.

Maybe. It never hurts to ask the dealer. Show them and don't setlle for the "it's ok, they all do that." B.S.
If not, it's not that tough to do, but it takes some time.

Any ?'s shoot me a PM.

Clean the engine and monitor it. If it leaks go to your local Honda Dealer and say,

"My car no work good. Engine Leaky Leaky."

They should take it from there. Hondabond is a glue that they use instead of a gasket. Your engine has very few actual gaskets. It will be covered by your warranty. If the dealer refuses, raise cain. If that doesn't work we will raise cain for you.
