Like everyone else already stated, that sure does suck.

But at least you weren't injured. You can at least be thankful for that.

Thumbs down

He was at fault but since the police were not involved there is no record of the event. there is a chance he could try to screw you and ay he did not do it or he was not at fault so claiming it immediately is a prudent thing to do IMHO.

Was his truck damaged?? Did you trade paint at all??

Your SO was with you correct? were there any other witnesses and if so did you get thier contact info?

those will help your case but I would act as quickly as possible. Take time off of work or do whatever you need to do but get one of his adjusters out there ASAP.

Total to55er! people shouldn't be driving things like that if they cant use their mirrors and think

"is there a car there or not? hmm i dont know lets just reverse and see"

What a lovely colour and condition your car was before that too

I have USAA and they will handle it well. I don't know how far you are but Gene Prez is the best shop in the area but he takes awile. When my car was hit I had R&S Autobody do mine and they did a great job. The painter Paul, (if he is still there), is one of the best painter in the area.

Get a rental car and they will cover it since it was the other guy's fault. You can get a car of equal type. Money wise or sport car.

Dont fret, the damage is replaceable (looks like a new door and fender) and the color match should be pretty good so it should be back to 99.9999% perfect

Damn, sorry to hear that. Hopefully, they'll be able to fix it up quickly and to a good standard.

First of all they are going to try to put aftermarket parts on there first cuz its cheaper... (the fender)
Tell them you want OEM parts...

Somebody hit my boys 00si and they put aftermarket parts on there and they didnt fit right and they had to go with oem afterwords so def tell them you want oem from the start and dont mess around...

I would act like this happend before but just not with this car...

Sorry to hear about the car...
