i kill 2nd all the time it dosnt like shifting at 9300 for some reason

I believe 1-4 for are 4% shorter so better acceleration, 5th is 2% taller and 6th is 4% taller so lower rpms crusing.

The syncros aren't really stronger but the are smoother and should last longer.

Like I said this is all from memory so I could be wrong.

An AP1 is usually about $600 and an AP2 is about $1200 but you probably can do better.

subzero you couldnt have said it any better, i just had to do research on upgrading to the ap2 tranny because i have the infamous ap1 1-2 grind.

This is true but if you get one of the first AP2 trannies like i have in my car, the syncros on 2&4 like to grind on high rpm shifts and pop out of gear on low rpm shifts. Honda had a TSB on them. Try to get one from an 05 or an 04 with a higher vin number.
