How bad is seat theft/ break-ins in Orlando?
I'm visiting Orlando on vacation and I'm undecided on wether to take the S or rent a car. Seat theft in Houston has pretty bad so I'm a little paranoid/hesitant on parking the S at the hotels parking lot. I don't have a hard top so that makes it even worse. What should I do? Thanks!

The strikes are pretty random. I left my S in the airport parking garage for over a week on an end spot ... no one touched it.
As much fun as it would be to drive the whole way over ... I'd probably still go for the rental. I'd be more worried about door dings than stolen seats
Hope you enjoy your stay while you are here though

no one can really advise you better then yourself, if you feel like driving, it's a heck of a fun drive... and there are dozens of s2000 owners along the way, you may see a few...
i go to orlando, i don't just go anywhere's, doesn't mean any were safe... always pay attention..

Orlando seat theft does happen. Not as bad as some make it out to be. I would imagine that leaving the car in the touristy areas it would be okay. I have left mine at a hotel on I drive before and many times at the disney parking lot. If it were me. I would drive my S rather than some crappy rental.

I decided to rent a car, got a hyundai elantra, 4 doors, lots of space, I'm averaging about 33 mpg, 219 bucks for 9 days, so far I'm happy with the car. Thanks everybody for the advice. We're driving down I 75 making our way down to Orlando.
