in europe they have lost of sporty suv's. turbocharged with aggressive handling. they even did a test of a few of them a few years ago on top gear. i think the reason they dont sell them here is 2 fold...

1) that they woulndt sell that good here cuz few americans would be able to get excited about a minivan even if it was faster then a vett.

2) that americans dont know how to drive and arnt very smart so they would jsut have a bunch of a dead families after the guy thats never driven stick in his life tried to race a saturn around a corner.

I have regularly read Top Gear for several years now, and I have been watching it on the BBC2. I suspect that there is another reason why they won't sell well here, at least according to the writers and editorial staff of Top Gear. Since the majority of American's are obese, most couldn't fit comfortably in a car smaller than a full sized SUV.

Triman/Top Gear is correct ... the typical american 'frame' unfortunately is uncomfortable in these types of cars.

I do my best to stay as lite as i can just to have more JDM/Euro-spec vehicle options.

Cool....so you want to get together for a long run and swim before the next meet? Afterall, drinking beer is a form of carbo-loading. I try to stay fit so that I can eat and drink.

My best consists of the twice-a-week curl bar and bench press ... as many reps as i can with the same weight. Once i start feeling a little better (ie motivated) i'll try to get back on the bike for a few miles every day.

unfortunately i don't enjoy beer ... so, my drinking isn't as effective as yours!
