Because it's black I just use the Z-5 for scratch and swirl removal.
Layer that with some Z-6 spray and you're pretty well protected.
Of course I use the Z-5 car wash as well, only micro fiber polishing towels and/or 100% US Cotton white towels to dry her off. Also, only wash the towels by themselves, with liquid detergent, dry with no softner sheets.
Also, get a California Duster for in between. I used the hell out of it this weekend. Probably 6 times from the time we arrived at the track to just before pit row.
Thx,
Shay

To date, I've shied away from Zaino. Some of the NSX guys have found that Zaino is/are excellent products but don't work too well on black NSX's. The usual comment is hazing.
It may well be that they aren't using the products right but like S2K owners, they tend to be pretty meticulous. The current, prevailing theory is that it has to do with the way the paint on the NSX reacts to the aluminum and the process used to apply the paint.
I'm thinking of giving it a try, however, as I've seen very good results (your car included) and I understand that while the initial application is a real pain in the ass it gets much easier after that.
Right now I'm using Meguairs quik detailer like a mofo. I think I'm buying a car cover for my garage too. This is my first black car and the dust is just killling me.
Sorry.. back on topic.

Da Hapa - PM what is the prevailing products for the black NSXs. I'm curious about any detailing tips. Also, get a California Duster. I leave it in the garage and dust her off a time or two during the week since I typically only have wash time on the weekends. They work great just read the directions before use. You don't really rub the car, you more or less glide over it.

Well here's a few more pics to add to the mix. Dave already posted a "DNA Shot" so I guess that'll do on that subject. After further review of the 80 or so shots I took Sandy's pretty sure Kelly isn't wearing a thing under that skirt. Check out the shot with Kelly and Andrew Firestone. Could that be the beginnings of her booty? "Hu" knows?

Last night I had a dream that a panty-less Kellly Hu was riding in my car with me along a twisty ocean side road under a star-lite sky.
Then Wynonna showed up and tried to eat my arm.
That's when I woke up.
