Default Help me with an expected estimate for rear bumper

I am going to the Property Damage Appraisers place today to get an estimate for my car (got rear-ended the other day). I will definitely need a new bumper, and at least a new ap2 exhaust tip. Don't know if there was any damage to the actual exhaust or behind the bumper.

What's a general estimate for a new rear bumper, paint, labor etc? Don't want to get low balled by the insurance people, and don't know if I can show up with some knowledge to help persuade them

I just had the front bumper replaced on the Odyssey after a hit and run.

bumper cover, 1 headlight (which was about 2-300), paint and labor was about $1200 and they used genuine Honda parts.

mine was 500 2 years ago for just an AP1 rear bumper and paint/labor

you should go to a body shop, they will give you the most accurate info.

here you will get guesses and opinions, not that its a bad thing, but for real info go to the source.

I am with Suzuka on this. But I wouldnt pay over $600-$700 for the whole job done.

Is insurance covering this? If so, why worry about price? I'd find the most reputable shop and go that way.
