I Just did the install of the hardtop on my s2k and I have to say that the car was probably designed as a coupe before it was turned in to a rag top. the lines flow naturally and pictures don't do it justice. You really have to see one in the flesh to appreciate it.
It took approximately 6 hours after reading and rereading the instructions. I think I can cut a couple of hours off that time if I were to do it again. I have a year 2000 model which needed the extra kit adding the defrost hardware. I'm ready for another one. I don't think that the dealer could have done it any better than I did.
If anyone is thinking of getting a hardtop, I guarantee you will not be disappointed
I also want to say thanks to Jeff and Joe Goetz from Ganley Honda for helping me out when I needed "how to" lesson on the install.

No Problem SR..
I think yours should go smoothly now that I've done mine and since you have 2001 there won't be a retro-kit to install. I say we can shave off at least 2 hours if not more.
