It's probably not contagous at this point anyway ... i tell people that all the time but they just don't like the HIV thing. 
Coming out and encouraging everyone else to eat on your behalf will more than cover your obligation.
Sleep is a great remedy. Good fresh air flow while sleeping is even better. Having a super hot girl naked next to you never hurts either (unless she's taking your temperature the WRONG WAY ... but, then you could be in to that sort of thing. Good times!
