Got oem red seat skins put on. Now real loose

Yeah the part that really bothers me is just the lower portion. Each corner has a bunch of slack there it looks like and is all wrinkled up. I pulled a little bit from under the seat and looks like it takes some of the slack out so I bet it just wasn't pulled tight enough.
I'll see how 1 week does with leaving in the sun a little bit and then I'll take it back.

Alright well spoke to the upholsterer again and I will be bringing the car back to him.
To someone that is familiar with removal and install of the seat covers.
He said that he put the hog rings back exactly how they were and that is how the seats looked then.
Do you roll the fabric up a little bit underneath or something before putting the rings in place? I want to make sure it is him not tightening it before I make sure I don't pay anything for him to fix it. Either way really he should have done something to make them fit well rather then just put them on all loose I think.
How are they tightened? I was able to reach under and just tug on the leather and they seem to tighten up a bit right away.

(unless they actually did, but your posts seem to indicate otherwise so i'm believing what you say).
Somebody who takes so little pride in their work that they would feel comfortable turning seats like that back over to the customer and try to justify it with that sort of answer someone you should never deal with again. it's time to get pissed. this guy focked up your seats and you should not accept any more of his ridiculous excuses.
One the plus side and perhaps most importantly, you can now rule out the other excuse the guy might offer--something like"oh, well the covers weren't exactly the right size or oem or blah blah..." because he can't use both excuses--either thats how they looked or they are not the right size--can't be both
