GIR Road Course Open Test & Tune
This month's GIR road course test & tune will be Aug 19. This will be much more open and faster than the autox. No official timing...bring a buddy and and a stop watch. $30 for half day; $50 for full day. I'm planning on doing the afternoon session...was more than enough runs for me last time.

More than likely I'm
Do they allow passengers at this type of event? Considering last event they wouldn't allow any...idk
I'm assuming they cone off the course where you should go but there isn't any slalom's or extremely tight turns like those in an auto-x, right?

i think i am in on this deal. super cheap for 1/2 day. i have a 10'x10' pop up canopy thingy. how do i sign up? do i call the track?
i have never tracked a RWD car, it could get interesting... speaking of interesting, in looking at the track layout, it appears the track is pretty open. are there any areas that could cause car damage if you go off course?
advise, thanks,
matt

You just show up, pay sign and drive. The track is as safe as they come. Plenty of room to spin out off the course. Don't make a habit of it though. 3 times and you are out. Very safe, but anything can happen.
