Default GIR Road Course Open Test & Tune

Just noticed this...and it is this weekend! How much did the last track day cost at GIR?

http://www.gainesvilleraceway.com/apcm/tem...=7372&zoneid=69

Not sure I can make it for a full day...but maybe the afternoon session. Anyone else interested?

I just called them, it's a show up and pay event, woohoo!
I'll be there. Someone bring a stop watch, they are not recording lap times. I have a helmet that I can share if you don't have one...it's a size 7 1/8, so it'll only fit you if you have a normal sized head

The only requirements are that you have a helmet (like I said, I'll share), and your car has to pass a basic tech inspection, that's it.

Arghhhh!! I'm working for a little in the morning ... that will kill that option for me. I'm in need of some cone-luv.

Well since we are having a decent size meet this saturday I figured I'd pass on this test and tune (you never know how many runs you will get at one of these either). I think it would be great if more of us showed up to actual auto-x events like the one on the 23rd of this month. It's going to be in Gainesville like this and will be timed so we can agressively compete against each other (or maybe thats just Chris and I - whoever loses buys lunch haha).

I'll be making a thread on the actual event but here is the site that you can register (not necessary)

Hope to see some of you out there!

The only problem with these Test-n-Tune days is that if a lot of people show up, you get very little track time. To my knowledge, they have no cut-off point for number of people racing.
