Ill be praying for him and the doctors that they will do there best with him... Very sorry to hear that... I have been trying to talk my brother out of getting a bike... Sometime its not the guy driving the car, you just cant see bikes well at all... I almost hit a guy on a bike... I was switching lanes at night and he came by at like 90 there was no time for me to see him...

Again very sorry and may God be with him and his family...

Personal freedoms set aside for a moment. If you get on a two wheeled motor vehicle of that nature, full gear should be worn at all times. I feel sorry for the driver but hot dogging on a bike without protection is crazy.

Good luck to your friend let us know how he does. Think positive he can make it. I spent two months in a coma and on life support from a motorcycle crash. No speed limit. It was very hard on the family.

Well here's the update....

He has:

A shattered forehead, a shattered nose, bleeding in the brain, fractured skull, broken left leg and 3rd degree burns all down the left side of his body from slidding. He has to undergoe ALOT of surgery and "might" get released in a month, in which he'll than have to spend 24 hour a day house arrest for a TBA amount of time.

WOW. With all that I if I was his parents I wouldn't leave the house for a year. Best of luck once again. Glad it seems he is going to make it.
