Guys...
Would you like to do another large statewide meet this year, like we did last April?
Also would you like to make it an official Florida event to drive up to NC to do the Dragon?

I'm game for a super meet. Not during the same timeframe as the dragon though.
I thought it was official that we were trying to get a group from Florida to go to the dragon, like we did last fall.

Here are my thoughts Keith.
If everyone is interested in a weekend meet WITH a track date, I propose the weekend of March 27-28. The 1.8 mile club course is available at Sebring and Chin Motorsports will secure ONE of the dates IF and ONLY IF there are at LEAST 40 people participating at $250 per person. We could do alternating 30 minute run groups WITH instructors so that novice drivers could participate.
The only reason I would be hesitant is the $$ involved. In the past car groups have contacted us to do events, only to find out that they don't have enough drivers to make the event financially feasible. Given the size of the deposit necessary ($3000) to secure the track, much planning and committment must occur.
I think we could put on a GREAT event with a Saturday track day and a Sunday drive and social gathering. I am willing to help organize the track portion but we will need serious volunteers to put together the rest of the event.
The April 17-18 track date conflicts with the Dragon Run!
