Hey Guys,

The event at Z-Hills on the 18th is a PCA sponsored event, so it should have a good turnout.

I'm thinking we should meet somewhere down south here and hit a couple of good roads on the way up, with maybe a little breakfast thrown in.

What do you guys think?

As of now we might have an '86 944 Turbo and a '02 Boxster S coming. I don't think the bro's Turbo S will be together just yet....

Hey Andy, sounds good, I'm game, including breakfast. Tell Jeff to work all weekend on his car and get that hunk of junk running!

Okay, I'm going to ask the big question.....

When I mow down a couple of cones, what kind of damage are they going to do to the paint? Marks, scuffs, etc? How hard will it be to clean them up afterward?

First, don't hit the cones, that's not the object. Second, I'd wax my car really well so minor cone scuffs would be easy to get off. I hear it depends on the cones and the size and condition they are in that plays a big part in any minor scuffs. Sorry, I don't really have an answer, but at least give your car a good waxing beforehand. Any damage will probably only be seen by you and won't be noticeable to others. I'm sure some have horror stories, there are exceptions to every rule. Do like me, I'm going to watch my first event. If it seems safe enough for the car, even if just hitting a few cones, then I'll drive in it next time. Or, you can watch for an hour, then decide if you want to do it. You don't need to sign up in advance for most of these events. Man, that's one long paragraph.

Looking at the details more closely, it looks to me that the Z-hills is only for Porches? I could be wrong, but I'm not sure? This info is from Todd, so I'm not too up on the details. I'd still go watch, as the Florida State Fairgrounds are all cars, so I'd still like to see how it's done. If you guys are game to still go to Z-hills, so am I.
