Hey all in the Tampa/Gulf Coast area. I just wanted to throw some dates out for the Sports Car Club of America events coming to the Tampa Area on May/June. I may be game for one or two events to just watch, which is free.

There is a session at the Gainesville Raceway on May 4, 2003

May 10 and 11 is the autocross event held in Lakeland.

May 18, Sunday, is the Autocross series held at the Zephyrhills Airport.

May 31 and June 1 is the event held at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

June 7 and 8 is the Solo II Regional Autocross at Sebring Int. Raceway.

There is no fee to watch and about a 30.00 - 40.00 fee to participate. More info can be found at http://www.cfrscaa.org/ . I also have handout supplied by Todd, part of the TBA group.

I plan on going to one or two of the events.

Note, there is no Nitrous Oxide allowed . There are a lot of Porsches involved with these events, just a heads up for Andy and Jeff.

Also check out <-Click

Again, thanks to Todd for the info.

So they just set up a bunch of cones in a big parking lot and you go through the course? I'm just trying to get a feel for what this is. You know, I'm not that bright.

I would love to get in on that. Let's go watch on the 18th in Z-hills, and lets run 'em on the 31st at the fairgrounds!

I could definitely be talked into the 18th at Z-Hills. Sounds like a lot of fun!
