hehe remember Keith, Hold it at 6000RPM not 9000RPM and just drop the clutch.. AND FLOOR IT ... Chris doesnt want to ruin those new tires so you have a big advantage if you launch right!
Oh! Dont bounce off the rev limiter at the light eaither!
Wheres my free beer? "Oops" I am not old enough to drink

Wow.. nice numbers guys... im suprised to see that the gain you get from a Mugan exhaust is not more pronounced.... im sure the air filters help more in real life (aka moving down the road) applications... im glad you guys got out there to do it... i unfortunatly was occupied with a VW GTG at markham park saturday...
I did go out sunday tho...dyno'd my huffy road bike... made an incredible -50 horsepower ;-)
that all motor mustang isnt really impressive... ive seen a 5.0 stang make 520-something NA ....but yeah the torque on them things is pretty sick.
Coral doc... good plan goin out there thursday.. you must have made things alot safer/faster/easier for the staff and participants on saturday since you were the very first s2000 on their dyno...

I'm back from Atlanta - thanks for posting the info on this thread. It's interesting to see that there really aren't any consistent trends. Some cars just made more power than others, even with similar modifications.

Against my recommendations, he suggested taking the air box cover off. I had read on this board that doing so resulted in power losses so I was very surprised to see the highest numbers from that run - 201.5 hp / 135.3 lb-ft! It seems clear that allowing more breathing on the intake side resulted in more hp, at least when a Mugen exhaust is fitted. Did anyone else try this trick?
