Dumb Question
What is the sequence to get that pesky "Maint req'd" light off my dash. I know it has something to do with the trip button and turning the car on, but I just can't figure it out!!!

* Put the key in the ignition and in the "OFF/LOCKED" Position.
* - Hold the Trip/Reset Button on the right bottom corner of your gauge cluster (see pic)
* - Now - Turn key to the "ON" Position while continuing to hold the Trip/Reset Button till the light goes off.
* ***If the light is still at the "blinking" stage and not yet solid - continue to Hold the button for around 25-30 seconds just to make sure it resets. ***

I just had that same experience last week! My flipping light came on while in the midst of my drive to work and scared the living daylights out of me!
Thank God for my owner's manual! It told me how to shut it off and that the dealership was too lazy to reset it.
