Down and Out
well I finally had a chance to open up my "built block" i got from a former shop. Not to my suprise .. it was a big piece of crap. This is what happens when you trust someone that you shouldnt.
after all said and done.. I spent so much money to get this big metal crap. But I am hoping my new shop is able to fix this and help me out... I am right on the edge of just buring my car into nothen.

WOW
I cannot believe a shop would let an engine leave looking like that. I have dealt with stuff like this before though. You just have to be glad you got the car back at all and then start over.

Once you initiate the suit you can file for discovery. Maybe even an independent asset review? Was the shop an LLC?

Not sure what you just said.. but i dont think it was
Also Google search the shops name within the County Record website (assuming they have one). There may already be an action pending or finalized. Someone else may already have a lien against the shop/owners assets ... you never know. The longer you wait ... the harder it is to receive restitution.
