Sorry about the little red truck Dave, it did well for a heavy SSR but alas I have no pics. Somehow the wife managed to forget all about the camera while watching her hubby and didn't realize until she was posting pics yesterday. lol What a bummer too b/c how funny would that have been to post a pic of a red sled of a truck, Chevy SSR with a caption that read "Who would have ever thought to see one of these at an autocross?" lol
Red Sled did well though and his best time was 44.3 seconds I believe. Not bad at all.

Lol, he was trying. The instructor's time was 42 seconds so that's pretty damn good for that heavy sled. lol Sadly it was better than my own time! lol

We call it Red Sled b/c our first date was a meet with his SSR clubbies in St. Augustine. I met him before sunrise (that's when you know it's love lol) and we met everyone in downtown St. Augustine to do a Christmas parade. You had to decorate your car for the parade so Tom blew up this HUGE polar bear and had him tied to the bed of the truck. He looked the Coca~Cola sled with the polar bear! lol And hence Red Sled was born!
