i think it's good that it's getting kids/parents off the sofa and doing a little excercise.
I agree. In part due to the video games, American children are having an issue with obesity and the Wii is a lot better than just sitting on your can and having your fingers getting all the excercise. The Wii is way more interactive and atleast it does get our lazy butts up!

it is also funny how much Nintendo is looking out for our best interests:
after you have been playing for a while and access the main menu it will have a screen come up that says something to the effect of "take a break, go outside" with a nice little picture of an open window with drapes being blown by the fresh air
HAHAHAHA thanks Nintendo, thanks for judging me and making feel like shiz for playing your product for too long

I hate that they keep track of the time you play. Makes me feel bad when I look and see I wasted 3 hours of my life at night playing Barnyard.

Well Nintendo does the break thing b/c over seas in Japan and China and the other asian areas some people are so obsessed with gaming that they have even killed themselves. No lie! They have 24/7 internet cafes where people can game and chat and I believe China (or maybe Japan) just instituted a new law where you're limited in your amount of online time and when you reach your maximun you are kicked off and can't sign back on for a certain amount of time. Again, no lie.
