I love my Wii! I had my poor hubby out with the crowds trying to get one when it released so I could play my Zelda! (Huge Fan) The sports is a blast to play with friends and you don't have to even be a gamer to enjoy it! It's like twister back in the day, everyone can do it and it's a major crack up!

And btw, my little brother has been wanting one and he still can't get his hands on one! He's been calling Best Buy and they're still selling all they get in like Mc Donald's hotcakes! Meanwhile, PS3 's and 360's are still collecting dust on the shelves. lol

Like I said I was completely turned off by the prospect of this system until I touched one.
I was not even on the fence about the damn thing...I was soo far from the fence I could not even see the fence.
I felt the entire thing was way too gimicky and it could not possible work as well as it looked like it did.
total shocker and now my inner child is stomping his feet and screaming.....very distracting here at work

my local Target seems to have them stock just about every time i go there. forget about Game Stop, they never have them, i think the clerks buy them for themselves and then sell 'em on ebay.

Thanks. We ended up getting ours in the release rush from Toys R Us. lol I suggested my brother to try there as well b/c he too was getting the same xp at Best Buy. But interesting about Target though. I figured they would be the same as Best Buy so I'll have to share that good news of info. Thanks again!

The Wii is neat, but I maintain my original line of thought in that it simply is an elaborate gimmick. I mean, seriously, many GOOD games are out on it? And how many of them are from 3rd party developers? It seems like the only people who can make fun (let alone playable) games for the console is Nintendo.
And it really seems like it was made solely for the Mario Party crowd. It's a cool thing to have at a party, but most times that I want to play a game, it's because I just feel like kicking back in the recliner, opening a beer, and killing some time.
Immersion shouldn't require me to swing my arm around for 3 hours.
