Cosmo our little Wonder Puddy has passed
A Very sad time here at the Herne household, Cosmo the wonder Puddy has passed on. He was 16 years and passed at home when April and I was away. David (our son) and our good friend Tuck along with the other Puddys were here for Cosmo. He died on 10-21-10 around 7:30pm just after his dinner time. He did not suffer and passed peacefully at home with David comforting him. No words can express how heavy our hearts our or, how he will be missed. We are so proud of you David for being strong and having such a wonderful caring heart.
We Love you Cosmo The Wonder Puddy……

Cos was a cool dude.....I empathize with you and your family.
I have lost several pets and it never, ever gets any easier.....ever.
Unless you choose a parrot or tortise, a pet is essentially an eventual heartbreak, but they are the most wonderful puddys to share your life with.
You have our family's condolences....

So sorry for the loss.
Our pets are def family and it is heartbreaking when eventually facing the inevitable. We know this going in yet doesn't make it an easy pill to swallow. The fact there was no suffering is indeed comforting.
