Condensation in left headlight! Damn!
WTF ? ? ? I have condensation in my left headlight! I cleared them a while ago with heavy rains every day and no problems. I don't know if it's related to my big puddle incident or just a coincidence. I took out the blinker bulb so it can vent and I've been driving with the headlights/ brights on to create heat. I hope this fixes it! It was such a pain doing the clearing in the first place so I dread doing the resealing all over again. All other ideas welcome. My car is running fine otherwise. I just have to drive like grandma for a while to break in the new clutch and engine!

You know what, there's no way it's a leak from the clearing. I watched you use a WHOLE tube of silicone on them. We got two or three pairs per tube, and you used a whole one up on your lights alone. There is no way there could be a leak from that! You used up so much silicone that I had to make a special trip out to get another tube.

Sorry to hear that. One of my friends drove through a big puddle the other day and is having the same problem with both lights. He has never taken his apart.

It might have gotten through the light socket so dry it and see if it happens again.
Did you clean out the grove the lens fits into and did you put silicon the grove well? If you did then I think it came through the socket.

Most of the condensation is gone but there is still a little bit left. I'll keep my turn signal bulb out for a while longer to see if it clears up. I sealed the hell out of the lights so I think it got in through the back of the socket but who knows?
