BYU blocked the extra point. Who's to say they wouldn't have blocked it with the ball on the 3? It was a 35 yard field goal, which shouldn't have been a big deal for a collegiate kicker. It sucks that it happened, but I really feel like people are making way to big of a deal of it.

I guess even after running up the score against the twice defending MAC champion, Central Michigan, the voters did think it was enough to put Georgia at #1!

I know it's a long way off, but here's an interesting thought. ECU has played and defeated #15 and #8. The rest of their season is decent, but they'll certainly be favored from here on out. If ECU runs the table and wins Conference USA, should will they be in the National Championship game? Would they deserve to be in the game?
I personally think if they run the table they deserve it, but I'm not sure they'll actually get it. Every single nonconference game ECU has on their schedule is a BCS Conference school, and some traditionally strong schools at that. They've done every thing in their power to get to the national championship. If they run the table and some perennial power 1-2 loss team is picked over them for the Championship it will be an absolute disgrace IMO. Thoughts?
