Depends! Stock and drives hard.

1. Cryoed only!
2. FI and races: AP1 Cryoed with reinforced caps.
3. FI 500+ HP and races: Fully built Puddy built or Inline Pro full setup if you can afford it.

All of this is depending on how hard you drive and launch. I have been driving for over a year at 500+hp and no problems with a cryoed rearend, reinforced caps, and a custom Puddy solid crush sleeve. That should be good for over 600hp and hard driving but no dropping the clutch.

These are all approximations off of what I have seen over six years.

I want a diff that will withstand abuse, and digs and most likely 700rwhp. Can the puddydad diff withstand this?

The dif may, though you have to worry about other things.

Tranny (transmission)
axles, mounts.

PM the puddydad and ask him.

I have pretty much the same set up as Sub-Zero. I have only been driving the car for a bit now, almost 5k miles and have not had any problems, and do not expect. I just don't launch.

Raven is right. Hitting an S hard at 700hp the tranny, motor mounts and axles will go before a Puddy rearend.

The big question is how are you getting 700 hp?

Good question Jeff 700

I built both Sub-Zero and Rvens rear diffs along with this one as well

The guys at S&R drive the Sub-Zero car and have a good amount of fun with the 500 + Hp the car is putting out

If you plan on hard driving and some drift action then you will need an aftermarket LSD as well

I have got a S & R Performance built motor at 21lbs of boost it is only 561 rwhp on a 93 octane. That is with a small Garrett journal turbo and Mase got 616 hp at 26 psi on a Laskie built motor. 700 rwhp is really hard on pump gas and you will spend a lot to get there so if you can afford to get the car to 700 rwhp you should at least go with the Puddy Big As_ rear!
