Body shop/paint shop?
Ok, most of you have seen my accident thread... Well, I just got my car appraised at the insurance company and they said I can choose where ever I want to take the car. Well I want the BEST job possible since I'm not paying for it. Do you guys know somewhere that does paint AND can put on/order my new fender and emblems? If you know of anywhere local that does phenominal jobs with color matching post it here please. Thanks you guys

I would still go through the delearship as they will have a third party location they trust. Picking a shop on your own is going to be a crap shoot at best. Going with a dealer approved site will ensure that they have worked on hondas before at least and will know the pitfalls of miking the paint codes.
I would also ask them to color match to a part of your car like the gas door or some other part. All paint is subject to fading or oxidation over the years and them spraying new paint (espcially if the parts are painted off the car) will most likely never match up. A savy body shop will modify the paint to match the car as close as possible.
If they dont go that route, make sure they agree to fade the paint in over a large area so the gradation is not noticeable. With the fender and the door being replaced I would request that the color be fadded over the hood, front bumper and down the length of the driver side rear quater panel and gas door.

OK personally, I don't know about the dealership recommended shop. They might be good, they might be the one that gives the best payback. Don't really know. Maybe Scott or someone who works at a dealership could tell us.
I'm sure some of the Tampa guys have some experience. Hopefully they will chime in with a recommendation...
