Default Blow Boat

As I'm recovering, Suzy and I are discussing next summer.
It looks like we're going back to sea and doing some cruising. I'm in the market for a sailboat either traditional or cat in the 40 to 50 foot range. I know some of you are also boaters so if you hear of a good deal, I'm interested.

Only requirements are good cabin headroom and set up to singlehand. Thought maybe there would be some good deals around tampa. I used to have an in with Sunbanks repossessions.

So if anyone has any info or interest, let me know

Grant, I know you go down to Key West a lot so you can understand when I read the title of the thread I was worried what it might be about.

I agree, I thought this thread was gonna be about a high speed, nighttime run in a cigarette boat...I watched to much Miami Vice as a kid

My best advice is join a boat club. Christie and I chose to do that over buying a boat. All the benefits and none of the troubles. There is one down in your neighborhood that I have a card for, they do sailboats and cats as well. The best aspect about those clubs is that your not limited to one type of boat. I'll pm you the info.

we're looking at those too, our thought however is to sail it enjoy it and moor it in Key West. We may even put it into charter service and use it as a runaway place when it's not chartered.

I've got a guy who rebuilds very nice sailboats by hand. I think he's got a 43 cat that he's working on.

PM me and I'll give you his contact info, he does amazing work.
