Best Florida roads??
Canadian travelling to Florida without their S2000. Looking for some guidance on the best way to spend a day in Florida behind the wheel. My trip will be based in the Orlando area but I’m looking to get some coastal driving in, don’t mind spending the full day at the wheel, 8-10 hours round trip would be ok.
hit me with your suggestions!

Unfortunately, not many great options, and the few there are are pretty short.
We drive this little route all the time between Apopka and Clermont. There are some twists and hills, and basically no police.
Green Mountain Scenic Highway
From there, you'll be close to pretty much the hilliest area in Central FL. Here's the Green Swamp wilderness preserve, a little SW of the above route. Lots of tight little roads buried in here. Too many to route out for you, but you'll see them on the map when you look for them.

The Great Florida Mountain Range, long thought to be a rumor and fake news by folks who inhabit the coast or Orlando, shows in the diagram. Elevations are in meters so supercharging is probably needed to account for the thinner air.

You may consider trying the following:
https://www.stateparks.com/ocala_nat...n_florida.html
Altoona FL is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Orlando northward and at the south central entrance of the forest on State Road 19 that runs to the north side of the forest.
Either coast would be good for a long drive.
Have fun!
