If your car is more than a couple of years old, I would avoid the aggravation and pay the shop to do it. As JC and others have pointed out, those Allen bolts are going to be a pain and the DIY approach could end up costing you nearly as much as having the work done.

You're already going to be dealing w/ a shop to get the gears set (I hope) so if it was me, i'd just pay them to swap the diff too. They can do it on a lift in about 20 minutes. You can do it on your back in 2-48 hours

^^ also it's hard to help someone when you don't know what tools they have access to and the area your going to be working in.
ie: garage? flat driveway? hilly driveway? apartment parking lot? wal-mart parking lot? tools? BYOT? (bring your own tools) jackstands? OEM jack or a serious jack? open bar or BYOB?
