Any Dragon Freaks?
I'm thinking about doing the Wake the Dragon in April up in NC. Anyone else planning on going besides Scott, Kim, and Matt?
From the thread at https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=261263
When: April 22nd, 23rd and 24th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Where: Alcoa, Tennessee (headquarters at the Airport Hilton)
What: Annual Spring gathering of the S2000 Community to take on the Dragon (US129)
The Dragon is an 11 mile section of US129 that runs from the border of Tennessee into North Carolina. It boasts 318 curves in 11 miles and it surely has brought about a bit of attention for folks wanting to test the performance and handling of their sports cars, bikes and more.
It's become a tradition where we, as an S2000 community, join in making the run of the Dragon an event. And it is just that, a great time to meet fellow S2000 owners and enjoy some beautiful moutain scenery. Come on out and enjoy the Dragon in April as we celebrate our 3rd annual gathering.
April 22nd - Wake the Dragon 2005 starts at 5pm. This will be the "sign-in" portion of the event. Signing your liabilty waiver, receiving your event packet, etc. Dinner will be on your own, however, there are several restaurants within 1mile of the Airport Hilton as well as an in-house full service restaurant. They include O'Charley's, Texas Roadhouse, Atlanta Bread Company and Up the Creek. Other restaurants are within quick drives (less than 5 minutes) and include Cracker Barrel, Pizzeria Uno and more.
April 23rd - The actual day of the event. A complete itinerary for the day's events will be included with your event packet (you'll pick this up on Friday during the sign-in portion of the event or receive it early in a mailing). On this day, we will enjoy great driving as a large group and later by smaller groups. Enjoying the Dragon and other area roadways, including the Cherohala Skyway and visiting Fontana Dam. An "official" group photo (both people and cars) will be done on this day.
April 24th - The day of goodbyes! We begin to leave from another gathering and driving event. Folks will be washing their S2000's and others will be making plans to run the Dragon just "one-more-time." This is a great time to relax and spend some time with other drivers and enthusiasts before heading home.
Our headquarters hotel will be the Airport Hilton located in Alcoa, Tennessee. 80 rooms have been reserved for this event at a discounted rate of $72 + taxes per night. Please be sure to use the code "Wake the Dragon" when making your reservation. You will need to call the hotel directly and make reservations.

You have to sign a waiver? Is there an online version of it that I can read before signing?
