I did this drive last Sept. on my own. I stopped only for fuel and a 15min. food stop. Did the whole trip from Lake Worth to Knoxville in 11 hours. Average speed in Florida was 70-80 mph. Georgia, damn if I wasn't at the speed limit (too many cops to mess with), and TN cross 70-80mph based on traffic.
We have a few FI engines going this year so we might need to add 1 extra gas stop, not sure on the Highway mpg.
I concur with Jerseygirl on timing. If we leave on Thursday at 5:30-6am we could get to Lake City in roughly 5.5 hours, which means 10:30-11am.
If I may, we did a quick stretch break at the Welcome Center for Georgia off of I-75. We could do exchange of cell phones and meet there. Although we are counting a lot of good average speeds and no traffic.
Let me know your thoughts.

Deiger, we've got to keep in mind that we'll have at least one So Fla member heading up from the extreme south end of Dade County. Don't know if we can realistically set a departure time of 5:30-6am.

Looks like 15 hours plus fuel, food and potty stops.
Last year, 3 of us did the trip and made it in about 14 hours and that was with hitting major traffic outside of Atlanta.

I think we should meet at the rest area in Florida. It is only a few miles north of I 10 on I 75.
