Basically the same type of event that happens in Tampa for the Indy race in Tampa.
The Tampa event has more functions leading up to the Indy race than we do in Alabama.
But more or less you get 2 tickets and pit passes + special parking to the ALGP for bringing your S2000 and giving the Indy drivers a ride around the track for the opening ceremonies/parade lap.
This will be our 4th year doing the ALGP so my bad kind of figured everyone knew about the event.

FYI..............
This race park is spectacular!! Imagine a design architect who was given total authority to design and then build a race/road course, no expenses withheld, and then you allow the S2KI crowd to take the Indy car Drivers for a Parade Lap just before the start of the race? It sits in a valley, with plenty of topography to challenge the best drivers of the world. When I took Justin Wilson out for a "lap" he said only Watkins Glen was better.
Too......if you are a motorcycle fan, the Barber Museum is the greatest in the World. I've never driven a motorcycle, but I just have to do the museum out of pure respect. And, its right on the race track.....you get to see the race staring down at your toes as the vehicles scream by while you pace the 4+ floors of bikes.
Once I took my wife (the 2nd year.....) it was all over. She now takes over the control of the drivers seat and takes the drivers for the Parade Lap. After 34 years of marriage, I cannot deliver a better anniversary gift, not even diamonds. When she rolls out, and then comes back in from the Lap, you cannot put definition to her smile and excitement. Priceless ..............

April is planing to come with me too, I hope I still get to do the lap but if she wants to I will step aside and be the good hubby like you
