I have a confession to make:
I was at the Rolex 24 checking out the cars with a few too many beers in me. I ended up at the dead end of a paddock surrounded by a 10 foot fence. Rather than walk out, i thought it would be best to jump the fence. So I climbed, leapt and rolled both my ankles. Fell immediately to the ground and gasped in pain. Luckily i hitched a ride back to our camp.
I haven't been able to walk at all since. Both ankles are tweaked, my left is far far worse swelled up like a ripe grapefruit. X-rays came out negative, but I am bed ridden, doctors orders for the next few days. RICE. Rest, Ice, Compress & Elevate are my activities.
I feel like an idiot.

the fence on the EAST side of paddock.. like inbetween the tire station and Gas place.?
i was stuck in a corner there last year i walked around tho..too damn cold to climb..
djdrifto.. get back to me on meetup ima try and bring this girl im seeing.. be a lil eye candy for everyone at the meet up...
one word... hooters calendar 2005/ and maybe 06' ima try and steal a pic she took on fri for 06's calendar entry.

how about you wrap up both ankles and have someone to drive you up to the meet? it wouldn't be much fun without you coming in 2 hours late.

I've got both taped up and it's near impossible to move. I've got crutches but with two bad feet, crutches suck. I'm just gonna haveta sit this one out which sux 'cause i've got chocalate for J-Girl.
I think it was the East side, but it was dark and i had about 6 beers too many in me. So i can't place the exact location of my moronic behavior.

Dave, your goodies are tucked safely away in my suitcase. As long as the TSA people and the Southwest baggage handlers don't want them, I'll deliver them to you in less than 24 hours!
